Libraries create new publishing service for UNT community

The UNT Libraries have launched a new publishing service meant to complement the UNT Press. Eagle Editions, an imprint of the UNT Libraries, is designed for works of scholarship from the UNT community. All books from Eagle Editions are freely available to read online, and some are available in print, as e-books, or both.

Digital Frontiers 2015

Digital Frontiers is a conference and THATCamp that brings together the makers and users of digital resources for humanities research, teaching and learning. The fourth annual Digital Frontiers is hosted by the School of Arts and Humanities and the Emerging Media and Communication program at University of Texas at Dallas.

Make the Past Present with Historic Houston Post Issues in The Portal to Texas History

The Texas Digital Newspaper Program has added over 100,000 pages of the Houston Post to The Portal to Texas History. Covering the years 1903 to 1923, it enables us to step into the shoes of the people who lived through and shaped history.  In other words, like all newspapers, these pages make the past current for present-day readers.
