Curriculum Materials Collection

This collection contains current Texas state-adopted textbooks for grades K-12. It supports coursework in the College of Education and The School of Library and Information Science. The materials circulate for seven days only and have a fine rate of $2.00 per day and are located on the Lower Level of Willis Library. In addition, resource kits which can be used in conjunction with many of the materials are available for library use from the kit room located in the basement of the Science and Technology library.  Please ask for assistance from the Science and Technology library circulation or reference staff in accessing these kits.

How to Find Materials in the CMC Collection

The library has created several ways for you to find what you want in the CMC collection.  

To find what call number your subject can be found in, refer to the Browsing Guide which is arranged alphabetically by subject, or to the Call Number Guide which is the subjects arranged in call number order.  These materials are located in the Lower Level of Willis Library.

To search the library catalog for the CMC collection, you can now narrow your  search of the library catalog to CMC materials only.

List of Adopted Textbooks

The Texas Education Association maintains a list of currently adopted textbooks.  The current list is available.  The files available are in PDF format.  Not all of the titles found are owned by the UNT Libraries, so check the library catalog to verify availability.
