Parts of journal article record

Each journal article record will contain the name of the journal in which the article was published and an abstract or short summary about the subject of the journal article.  Some will have a .pdf or html full-text icon in the record.  These icons or words indicate that the electronic full-text is available.  The Adobe .pdf format of the full-text is a photographic image of the original paper journal article which includes all original images and page numbers.  Page numbers will not always be included in the html format of the electronic full-text.  You will definitely want to know the original page numbers before you write your paper so you can quote correctly.
