Grove Dictionary of Art  The Grove Dictionary of Art Online provides Web access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art (1996, 34 vols.) with constant additions of new material and updates to the text, plus extensive image links, and bibliographic information.  This resource is maintained by UNT Libraries. and password if accessing off campus.

New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians  The second edition of the excellent, comprehensive music encyclopedia that has over 29,000 articles by over 6,000 scholars from all over the world; includes the New Grove Dictionary of Opera.  This resource is maintained by UNT Libraries. Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy  Provides classic philosophical texts and original contributions from professional philosophers.

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy  A dynamic reference work in Philosophy.  Each entry in the encyclopedia is maintained and kept up to date by an expert or group of experts in the field.
