Concordances

NetBible conveniently lists the chapter, verse, use and meaning of a word as found in the various versions of the Bible and compiles this information on the same page for easy comparison. Enter the word you would like to search in the "Study Dictionary" box in the upper right side of the screen, or choose a word from the extensive A - Z index listing.

Type a word in the search box and then click on the verse to see the comparisons of the use of the word in many versions of the Bible. You may also search apocryphal texts and find atlases by choosing these terms in the drop down menu box where the word "concordance" appears.

This is a great site for comparing scripture from different Bible versions  in all languages. This site does not include the Greek Old and New Testaments or the Vulgate. The default search is The New International Version. To choose a different version, click on the blue arrow button in the version box to see a drop down menu of versions.
