Banned Books Week

Banned Books Week is the annual celebration of intellectual freedom and the right to read! It is a campaign led by the American Library Association to raise awareness of censorship issues that still happen every day.

Banned Books Week is celebrated September 24th to October 1st, 2011.

Here is a visual bookshelf of the books included in the display. Come to the 1st floor of Willis Library during September to grab one of these books!

The UNT Libraries will be closed Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28 for the Memorial Day weekend. The Libraries will reopen during regular building hours on Tuesday, May 29.
