Media Library

The Media Library contains the university libraries' nonprint, audiovisual collections. The mission of the UNT Media Library is to support the instructional and research needs of UNT faculty, staff, and students by collecting, maintaining, and providing access to media materials that represent all academic disciplines and all genres of film.

Music Library

The Music Library was founded in 1941 by Wilfred C. Bain and Anna Harriet Heyer and is located on the fourth floor of Willis Library. It is one of the largest academic music collections in the United States, serving the university's College of Music and providing extensive resources for musical scholars.

The Research Park Library serves the student, staff & faculty of the Discovery Park, supporting the efforts of the College of Engineering, School of Library and Information Sciences and the Computing and Information Technology Center.

Willis Library, located in the heart of the Denton Campus in the newly renovated Library Mall, is home to the Business, Economics, Education, Microforms and Humanities and Social Sciences collections along with special areas as Government Documents, the Music Library, the Rare Book and Texana Collections, and the University Archives.

Rare Book and Texana Collections

Rare Book and Texana Collections

The Rare Book and Texana Collections were founded in 1981 and are housed in Room 437 on the fourth floor of the Willis Library. Complementing the Rare Book and Texana Collections is the Weaver Collection, a major resource in children's literature. All materials are available for public use under policies established by the Rare Book Room staff.

University of North Texas Archives

The University of North Texas Archives was established in 1975 by President C. C. Nolen to house university records of enduring value and to document the development of north central Texas.

UNT Dallas Campus Library

UNT Dallas Campus Library

Primarily electronic, the "virtual library" at the Dallas Campus is not a "traditional library, but it is a full-service library." Students, faculty and staff access resources in a variety of ways.
