Survey and Results

UNT Libraries conducts surveys to ensure that it understands both the changing needs of library users and user perceptions of how well the Libraries meet those needs.  Regularly scheduled surveys include the following:

  • The LibQUAL+TM survey was developed by the Association of Research Libraries in partnership with Texas A & M University.  The survey collects data that libraries can use to understand and respond to user opinions of service quality.  Libraries that use the survey have access not only to survey results from their own institution but also to data from other participating libraries, allowing comparisons that can be used to develop benchmarks and identify sources of best practices. UNT first participated in 2005 and conducts the survey in the spring of odd numbered years.

This survey appears continuously at the bottom of all pages on the UNT Libraries web site.  Its purpose is to allow library users to provide feedback whenever they feel the need.
