Society for Photographic Education

"The Society for Photographic Education seeks to promote a broader understanding the medium of photography, and to foster the development of its practice, teaching, scholarship and criticism."  The Society also provides job listings, calls for submission, an online photography forum and publishes the journal Exposure.

Photographic Society of America

Provides a calendar of events and many contacts. The Society has nine different divisions catering to the unique areas of interest of photographers: color slides, nature, black and white prints, color prints, stereo (3D) photography, photo travel, photojournalism, techniques, and electronic imaging.

The Texas Photographic Society

A bi-monthly newsletter that provides a calendar of events, workshops, local exhibits and contacts.
