Because of the unique and fragile nature of many of the materials, the staff perform needed conservation treatments to collection materials to enable the use of collections by students, faculty, and researchers.

Preservation referrals: Rare Book Room employees can make recommendations for the proper care and treatment of your books. If your books need professional conservation, we can direct you to trained conservators in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
