Official homepage of the department responsible for administering trademarks.
American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)
A national bar association constituted primarily of intellectual property lawyers in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic community.
ABA Section on Intellectual Property Law (American Bar Association)
The intellectual property division of the American Bar Association, this is the largest IP organization in the world.
Brand Names Educational Foundation (BNEF)
Non-profit organization dedicated to advancing worldwide knowledge of the nature, purpose, and value of brands, and the responsibilities associated with their use. BNEF is a publicly funded, non-profit organization whose mission is the education of consumers, businesses, educators and students, public and private agencies, and the public at large.
DC Bar Intellectual Property Law Section (District of Columbia Bar)
Comprised of lawyers in private, public, and corporate practices, the Intellectual Property Law Section of the DC Bar provides a forum for addressing intellectual property law issues that affect individuals, small businesses, corporations, and public policy. The site includes newsletters, contact information, and a schedule of upcoming programs and events.
European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA)
The foremost organisation acting in the field of trade marks, designs and related rights, within Europe. Its mission is to promote the knowledge and professionalism of members and owners alike in the aforementioned field within Europe.
Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO)
A trade association for owners of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. IPO is the only association in the U.S. that serves all intellectual property owners in all industries and all fields of technology. The association advocates effective and affordable IP ownership rights and provides a wide array of services to members. It concentrates on supporting members' interests relating to legislative and international issues; analyzing current IP issues; providing information and educational services; and disseminating information to the general public on the importance of intellectual property rights.
International Trademark Association (INTA®)
A worldwide association of trademark owners and advisors, INTA is dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property concepts as essential elements of effective national and international commerce. Possibly the largest and most influential organization in the world devoted exclusively to trademarks, and trademark law.
Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA)
A professional association for trademark attorneys in the United Kingdom. Its aims are to ensure that all those admitted to practicing membership possess the specialised knowledge and experience necessary in trade mark matters; to consider proposed legislation affecting trademarks; to arrange lectures for the assistance and technical instruction of members; and to promote just and honourable practice in the conduct of the trademark profession.
International Anticounterfeiting Coalition (IACC)
The world's largest non-profit organization devoted solely to protecting intellectual property and deterring counterfeiting.
Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA)
A non-profit, non-governmental organization, which has approximately 1090 members. It represents industries and users of the intellectual property (lP) system, and provides related institutions all around the world with well-timed, suitable opinions on improvement of their IP systems and their utilization. 
MARQUES: The Association of European Trademark Owners

MARQUES represents trade mark owners’ interests before the relevant EU and other international bodies in all relevant areas. It also organizes networking and educational events and promotes communication between brand owners in Europe. The MARQUES Web site provides a wide range of information and general IP resources of use to both trademark owners and legal practitioners.

State Bar of Texas Intellectual Property Law Section (State Bar of Texas)
The Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is composed of attorneys who practice in or otherwise have an interest in the law relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, trade secrets, the internet and other technology related areas. Their primary goals are to promote the understanding of intellectual property and related areas of law as well as to provide a forum for the discussion of intellectual property issues and for the exchange of ideas on such issues. They sponsor continuing legal education (CLE) seminars covering intellectual property law topics and, in conjunction with the University of Texas School of Law, the Section co-sponsors the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal.
World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
 The intellectual property arm of the United Nations. It is dedicated to developing a balanced and accessible international intellectual property (IP) system that rewards creativity, stimulates innovation and contributes to economic development, while safeguarding the public interest.
