Books

For books on Library and Information Sciences, first consult the UNT Library Catalog.  You can search by keyword, subject, author or title in the catalog.  Subjects used in the catalogs can be found in Library of Congress Subject Headings (red books), located near the Online Catalog terminals and at the Reference Desk.

If UNT does not own the item that you require, search for the item in the database, WorldCat. Once you have found the correct record for your item, you can view a list of libraries that own it. The list is arranged so that the libraries closest to UNT appear first. If you are unable to go to the nearest library that owns your required item, you may order it through Interlibrary Loan.
