Political Science
Introduction
Thank you for using the Political Science Subject Guide. My name is Suzanne Sears, Head of the Government Documents Department for the UNT Libraries and Library Liaison for Political Science .
Politics is the study of human nature as it has developed and is
expressed in different socio-political settings. Political scientists
examine particular political cultures, including our own, and explore
the limits of various political models. We do this by studying the
world around us, utilizing the proper empirical and statistical tools
as well as extensive philosophical training. Due to the variety of
sub-fields within Politics, our studies frequently engage us in related
areas such as psychology, biology, economics and sociology.
This subject guide is intended to provide information on resources available from the UNT Libraries, both in the library and online.
- The Articles tab has resources for finding articles in print or online.
- The Books tab has tutorials on finding books in the UNT catalog.
