Digital Libraries

California Digital Library

Provides access to scholarly and cultural materials for the University of California Libraries and the communities they serve. Many of the resources are free for the public to use, including eScholarship Editions (e-books) and eScholarship Repository (collection of University of California scholarly works).

 

Children's International Digital Library

A full text library of over 600 titles in more than 35 languages. CIDL is a good resource for finding international award-winning and multicultural books. The library is a project of the University of Maryland.

 

Universal Digital Library

A collection of 1.5 million and growing digitized books. The National Science Foundation funds the digitization being performed by Carnegie Mellon University and partners in China, Egypt, and India. Books are currently available in 12 languages and date from 1500 to 2007.

 

eBooks on Ebscohost

UNT has access to 50,479 eBooks through Amigos Library Services, Texas State Library, and by direct purchase. There are records in the online catalog for all the titles to which UNT has access. To search the entire collection you must edit your preferences in the "my account" section.
