  • From the A-Z list click on the letter S for socINDEX  (E for Ebsco)
  • Off campus enter your EUID and Password
  • Click on advanced search then do a keyword to subject search (add databases as needed)

Example subject terms that may be preferred by some databases:

    research, survey, questionnaires, social sciences--research,  statistics, quantitative research, qualitative research 

     

Search tips and help:

  • Note on limited results: Try researching 1 country based on the variable then the U.S. plus variable to compare.

     i.e. United States + Alcoholism  (look at results) then try Canada + Alcoholism

  • Use keyword to subject search (Subject Headings or Subject Terms are the preferred terms for your concept or keyword.
