ERIC (EBSCOhost)
Premier national bibliographic database of education literature. ERIC consists of two files: Resources in Education, covering the document literature, and Current Index to Journals in Education, covering published journal literature from over 775 periodicals. Coverage is 1966 to present.

 

Digital Dissertations (Dissertation Abstracts)

Includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward also include 350-word abstracts written by the author. Citations for master's theses from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. Titles published since 1997 are available in PDF digital format and have 24 page previews available.

RefWorks

RefWorks is an online research management tool that allows users to easily gather, manage, store, and share information. It allows users to generate citations and bibliographies in a variety of formats.


E-Mail Alerting Services

Numerous UNT Electronic Resources offer email alerting services. This means the database or journal vendor will send you an e-mail when new content in the resource matches your saved search, table of contents or citation criteria. You will need to register with your resource of interest to take advantage of these services.

Academic Search Complete
A scholarly collection providing full text journal coverage for nearly all academic areas of study. Full text for nearly 3,180 scholarly publications abstracts and indexing for nearly 4,150 scholarly journals with many dating back to 1984.

 

Radio, Television & Film Specific Electronic Resources

Communication and Mass Media Complete

 Provides access to journal articles in areas related to communication & mass media.

Film and Television Literature Index
Film & Television Literature Index is a comprehensive bibliographic database covering the entire spectrum of television and film writing. Subject coverage includes film & television theory, preservation & restoration, writing, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews.

Film Indexes Online
Film indexes Online brings three film indexes together in one site, including AFI Catalog, Film Index International and FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals.

Research Library (formerly Periodical Abstracts Research II)

Provides abstracts, indexing, and full text articles from academic journals, popular magazines, and key business publications.

The UNT Libraries will be closed Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28 for the Memorial Day weekend. The Libraries will reopen during regular building hours on Tuesday, May 29.
