Top Databases for Rehabilitation Counseling
Here are some links to UNT's electronic databases. Each of these databases contains numerous scholarly journal articles on topics in rehabilitation counseling.
- PsycInfo via Ebscohost - Contains over 1,300 journals in psychology, social work, and counseling. Most articles are available full-text. This is a wonderful place to begin your research.
- Research Library via ProQuest - Has many articles on rehabilitation and counseling, many of which are full-text.
- Web of Science - Scholarly resource for psychological studies, including theory and assessment. Some articles are full-text.
- WorldCat - Locate books and journal articles not available in the UNT catalog here. WorldCat will search nearby libraries for books and articles, which can then be requested through UNT's Interlibrary Loan.
Note!
If you are accessing these databases off campus, you will need to enter in your EUID and password.

Hints for locating your article
1. First, see if it is available to you in either HTML or PDF Full Text in the database you are already in. In the example below, the article is available to you in both HTML and as a PDF.

2. If you do not see a link to either an HTML or PDF of the article, try finding it first through Article Linker Find Full Text, and then by clicking on Check the Univ of North Texas library catalog to see if UNT subscribes to a print version.

3. If none of the above options are available for the article you are interested in, you will be taken to a screen that looks like the one below. From here, click Request this article through UNT's ILL department. This will take you to Interlibrary Loan. You will have to create an account if you do not already have one. (You only need to do this once.) In the Interlibrary Loan system, fill out as much information that you have about the article you are requesting. Generally, it takes one day to complete your request. Articles will be sent directly to your email. If you are requesting a book, you will need to pick it up at the Willis Library's Interlibrary Loan desk (near Circulation).
