Testing guide: http://www.library.unt.edu/research-tools/guides/testing-assessment/articles/electronic-resources
Strategy 1: Use MMY or HaPI (best option)
This is the test information option which is preferred so do try it but there are access issues.
- Mental Measurements Yearbook via Ebscohost: http://irservices.library.unt.edu/resource.cfm?ai_id=455
MMY database is limited to 4 users at a time.
HaPI is limited to 10 users at a time.
Strategy 2: Locating a Test Online (if you can't get into MMY)
Believe it or not, using a search engine (like Google.com) might pull up the full survey online. This is not recommended for analysis (use databases like the ones below). Not all tests are online (see strategy 1) & do evaluate the source.
- Use Dr. Sneed's AODAinstruments list to find a proper test name.
- Do a search ( quotes help" , ex. "World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL; WHOQOL-BREF)"
- See results: WHOQOL page. Look for blank copy or analyze copy without results. You are critiquing the tes
Strategy 3: Books at UNT libraries with assessment info (on Testing guide)
