The Equal Employment Opportunities Act requires state and local governments file to file an EEO-4 report on an annual basis. Within the EEO reporting requirements employees must be counted by sex and race/ethnic category for each of the eight occupational categories: officials and administrators, professionals, technicians, administrative support (including clerical and sales), skilled craft workers, service/maintenance workers, para-professionals, protective service workers.
