HNRS 1500: Online Databases

General Databases:

EbscoHOST's Academic Search Complete indexes over 8000 journals, and includes full text for over 4600, including 3500 scholarly journals in full text.  It is a good general database that covers  nearly all academic areas of study - including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies, etc.  Because of the extensive full text available in this database, it is useful to all disciplines.

Proquest's  Research Library is another good general database with extensive full text articles available, as well as numerous newspapers.
