HIST 5000 All Graduate History Classes

Introduction

If you are new to UNT and are not familiar with the main library on the campus, which is in the Willis Library Building, you might want to refer to the class page that has been created for undergraduate history students, HIST 1000 All Undergraduate History Classes.  That class page provides general information about the layout of the Library and the basic steps on how to find library materials.

Graduate students are expected to have a basic understanding of how to conduct research and write papers, beyond what is expected of undergraduates.  Pursuing a course of research on a history topic is part of the learning process and seeking out pertinent sources to use in your research paper is something that only you can do.  Members of the Library staff are happy to offer helpful suggestions about where to look for material that might be useful in your research.
