UNT Library Services:
Microforms at the UNT Libraries are accessible through Goldmine! If you click on the link which says Click here for a list of subjects, then click on History, you will find numerous collections of historic archive materials. Some which could be important include the Bexar Archives, Manifests of Alien Arrivals, and The Other Side: or, Notes for the History of the War between Mexico and the United States. There are also collections of newspapers, some of which go back to 1685. There is contemporaneous coverage of the American Revolution, although the Pennsylvania and Massachusetts newspapers abruptly stop in 1776.
The Rare Book and Texana Collection houses original historic documents, some of which may be useful in your research. Be sure to ask the employees of the Rare Book Room for help, as the collection is not entirely cataloged.
The UNT Archives, located on the fourth floor, has an Oral History Collection.
