Finding Books on Your Topic
5 Easy Steps for Finding Books
- Select the UNT Library Catalog link at http://www.library.unt.edu.
- Select the Advanced Keyword button to do a more focused and relevant search.

Enter [geography] = Subject And [your interest] = Any Field. This is called a Boolean search because you are using "And" to join two search terms. The catalog will look for books that have both terms in them.
- Browse through the resulting list of titles. Look at the subject headings of a relevant title, and revise your search using them.
- Note the location, call number and status of a title so you can find it.
