Finding Books on Your Topic

5 Easy Steps for Finding Books

  1. Select the UNT Library Catalog link at http://www.library.unt.edu.
  1. Select the Advanced Keyword button to do a more focused and relevant search.

  2. Enter [geography] = Subject And [your interest] = Any Field.  This is called a Boolean search because you are using "And" to join two search terms.

  3. Browse through the resulting list of titles. Look at the subject headings of a relevant title, and revise your search using them.

  4. Note the location, call number and status of a title so you can find it.
