Finding Books on Your Topic

5 Easy Steps for Finding Books

  1. Select the UNT Library Catalog link at http://www.library.unt.edu.
  2. Select the Advanced Keyword button to do a more focused and relevant search.
  3. Enter [geography] = Subject  And  [your interest] = Any Field.  This is called a Boolean search because you are using "And" to join two search terms. The catalog will look for books that have both terms in them.

4. Browse through the resulting list of titles. Click on a title link to get more information about a book. Look at the subject headings of a relevant title, and revise your search using them.
