Graduate Carrels

Graduate carrels are available in Willis Library for UNT graduate students and faculty members.

Carrels are study areas with power outlets and locking cabinets.

Carrel holders may reserve a limited number of regular, circulating books at their carrels and may renew their assignments from one semester to the next. Books reserved to carrels may be checked out as 3-day reserve items to anyone with a valid and current ID.  (Read here for more information on how "Graduate Reserve" materials work in graduate carrels.)

Application for carrels may be made at the following locations:

  • Circulation Desk, 1st floor - for carrels located on 2nd Floor and 3rd Floor
  • Music Circulation Desk, 4th floor - for carrels located on 4th floor.  These are for music students only.
