Literature Resource Center (LRC)

Literature Resource Center allows access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of more than 120,000 authors from every age and literary discipline. It includes information on literary figures from all time periods writing in such genres as fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism, and more.

How to Access Electronic Resources

Searching LRC for "Wuthering Heights" research:

 

1. Go to the electronic resources page for the letter L

2. Scroll down to the bottom, and click on Literature Resource Center (LRC)

3. The default is an author search (you could do Bronte, Emily). However, click on the "Advanced"  search link under the "Other Searches" catagory

4. Do your search

Search box 1: Bronte, Emily in

Author-exactly
AND

Search box 2: "Wuthering Heights" in

full text

Search box 3:
 

(you can enter your theme, concept as a keyword)

 RESULTS =

Note:

You can click on tabs for Literary Criticism, Articles, and Work Overviews, to focus results in the Literary Criticism Tab.

5. Click on the blue hyperlinked title of the journal article or encyclopedia entry you want to see.
