Finding Communications Articles
To find Communications related articles on particular topics, search within Communication and Mass Media Complete
-
Start at the UNT Libraries' home page: http://www.library.unt.edu
-
Click on the link for "Electronic Resources"
-
Choose the letter "C" under "Browse Abstract and Index Titles by Name"
-
Scroll down until you see "Communication and Mass Media Complete" and click on the linked title. If you are off-campus, you will be asked to log in with your EUID and EUID password at this point. Then you will see this screen:

-
Now type your search terms into the search box and click the search button. Search terms should reflect your topic and might include: family communication, performance communication, intercultural communication, organization communication, etc.
-
All of the results that you receive will be from Communications journals.
-
To view one of the records from your list of search results, simply click on the article title.
-
The abstract provided will help you determine if the article is relevant to your topic. To view the full article click on the "PDF Full Text" link on the left side of the screen.

-
If you see no "PDF Full Text" link in the record, look for a link that says "Find Full Text" and click on that link. Frequently, articles that are not immediately available in linked full text will be found through the article linker.
-
When you have found an article that you want to use for your assignment, there are a couple ways to save it. You can download the PDF to a flash drive or you can email the article citation and article PDF to yourself by clicking on the "email" link from the "Tools" on the right side of the page.
