Locating Books
Look for books on your subject in the UNT Library Catalog using the Subject or Keyword Search option. In addition to this, there are three series of books on social issues that give articles on different sides of a topic. The titles of these series are: Opposing Viewpoints, Current Controversies, and Information Series on Current Topics. The most current are located in the Reference Area. You can find individual titles by doing a Title search in the Catalog on one of these phrases:
* Opposing Viewpoints Series Unnumbered
* Current Controversies
* Information Series on Current Topics
and browsing through the list of titles and noting the call number. The librarians at the reference desk can help you find the books. You can also do a Keyword search composed of the series name and a topic. Example: Opposing viewpoints drugs will find you several titles containing those words, plus some that are similar, for example, Marijuana.
