For the U.S. and world nations, this site provides links to laws, constitution, court, legislative bodies, treaties, Presidencies.

International Constitutional Law (University of Hamburg)
Includes text of each constitution, as well as background material, commentary, and a key numbering system that enables comparison of different constitutions.

Constitution Finder (University of Richmond)
Constitutions, charters, amendments, and other related documents arranged alphabetically by country.

Yahoo! Countries
Find your country, then click on Government, then click on Law, Legislative Branch, Executive Branch, etc.  This information may be under "More Information about your Country."

Cornell University, Legal Information Institute: Law by Source: Global
The Legal Information Institute's collection of world legal materials gathers resources of the constitutions, statutes, judicial opinions, and related legal information. Hint: click on National Law Material, find your region, then find your country.

Library of Congress: Country Studies
The Country Studies Series presents a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries throughout the world.

Northwestern University Library: Foreign Governments
Provides links to the official websites of national governments.

FindLaw:
The main Internet Law guide and directory for U.S. legal materials.  Provides U.S. law cases and codes at the federal and state level.  It also provides laws and legal issues by topic.  "U.S. Laws:  Cases and Code" provides Supreme Court opinions as well as U.S. Court of Appeals Cases.

Thomas-Legislative Information
Provided by the U.S. Congress, this site furnishes updated information about treaties the Senate is considering for adoption.  Click on the link to "Treaties 90th - 108th."

DoingBusiness.org (World Bank)
Provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement. Indicators cover topics such as starting a business, employing workers, paying taxes, getting credit, etc.

EISL - Electronic Information System for International Law
Includes treaty collections, states & groups of states, international organizations (including United Nations and the European Union).

International Monetary Fund
Contains information on current lending practices, press releases.

OECD, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
The OECD consists of 30 member countries. The OECD is best known for its publications  and its statistics, which cover economic and social issues from macroeconomics, to trade, education, development and science and innovation.

United Nations
Includes UN at a glance, UN charter, structure and organization, and member states.  Sections include Information Centers, International Court of Justice, Global Compact, Partnerships, and Rule of Law.

World Trade Organization
The WTO agreements deal with the rules of trade between nations. The goal is to help producers of goods and services, exporters, and importers conduct their business without undue restrictions on trade.
