Evaluating Information on the Web Using Critical Thinking Skills
The World Wide Web has tons of information, but not all web sites are reliable. A researcher must be able to evaluate information on the Web. Web sites must be critically evaluated.

reflective and reasonable thinking that is focused on deciding what to believe or do. (Ennis, 1985)

mental processes or strategies people use to solve problems, make decisions, and learn new concepts. (Sternberg,1986)

N = Nature, Why does this site exist? Purpose?
A = Appearance/Accessibility, Does this site function efficiently?
P = Page Content, Is the information accurate and reliable?
