SIC - Standard Industrial Classification Manual
The Standard Industrial Classification Manual provides a listing of SIC codes with explanations. It also provides an alphabetical list of industries next to their SIC codes. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) manual
This U.S.-designated 6 digit code replaces the older SIC code. It is the result of a joint effort by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to classify industries so that statistics produced in the three countries will be comparable.
