Tommy and Dobbin is a set of wooden blocks believed to date from the 1890's. The 11 painted wooden blocks can be assembled in various ways to put Tommy the soldier and his horse in different positions.
The wooden case has a colored pictorial label on top, and under the lid and on the inside of the case are colored illustrations showing some of the poses that Tommy and Dobbin can be built in.
