Associates of Oral History
Purpose
The general purpose of the Associates of UNT Oral History is to build the oral history resources of the university in order to provide research material for the scholarly community and to preserve our state and national heritage. With the assistance of the Associates, the UNT Oral History Program:
- encourages the use of oral history materials by scholars and the public
- stimulates public interest in the UNT Oral History program;
- provides a forum for sharing an interest and enthusiasm for oral history with the wider community;
- sponsors community workshops and seminars featuring prominent oral historians;
- seeks funding from foundations, businesses, individuals, and other sources.
Benefits
Associates of the UNT Oral History program receive a certificate of membership, complimentary copies of publications, and notices of exhibits, lectures, workshops, receptions, and other oral history-related events.

- Special Endowment Fund (Gifts of $5,000 and above)
