UNT’s Collection of CRS Reports Surpasses 20,000

This month the University of North Texas reached 20,077 reports in its CRS Reports collection available through the UNT Digital Library. CRS, or Congressional Research Service, Reports are materials commissioned by Congress and produced by a division of the Library of Congress. CRS Reports are funded by tax dollars but are not readily available to the public. As noted in a recent New York Times Op-Ed, CRS Reports are “not classified.

Ready to Roll - Bike, Skate, and Pedestrian Safety

The UNT Libraries' Community Service Committee will sponsor a bike, skate, and pedestrian safety event on Wednesday, August 19 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Willis Library Forum.

Join the UNT Police, Risk Management, UNT Cycling Club, and local bike and skate shops to learn how to safely walk, skate, bike, and drive across campus. Local bike and skate shops will also share information on products and services they offer.

UNT Libraries Participate in U.S.-Ethiopian Universities Innovative Partnerships Program

UNT and Texas A&M Libraries worked with professionals from Jimma, Mettu, and Addis Ababa Universities in Ethiopia toward a goal of improving the institutions' digital repositories.

Game On! is a monthly gaming event hosted by the Media Library. Compete in friendly tournaments and test drive the latest titles from your favorite game developers once a month at our open gaming event. Fall events will be held on September 2, October 7, November 4, and December 2. The UNT Libraries begins its fifth year of hosting Game On!@ UNT Libraries. In fall 2015, the libraries will host eight gaming events. All events run from 4pm – 9pm in the UNT Media Library, Chilton Hall Rm 111.
