Writings from World War I in America

On the 100th anniversary of the U.S. involvement in the war, please join us for readings of poetry and prose written by American soldiers and civilians during World War I. Dr. Geoffrey Wawro, professor and Director of the Military History Center in the UNT Department of History, will facilitate discussion about the readings and provide insight into personal, political and environmental factors that may have inspired these writings.

Music Cataloging Institute

The 2018 Music Cataloging Institute will take place July 30 to August 3. The dates are later than usual so that the Institute can take into account the results of the reorganization and rewrite of RDA that is scheduled to come out on June 13. Registration is not open yet. Announcements will be made on MLA-L and MOUG-L when it becomes available. Please also refer to the updated, 2018 event page here.

Pixels & Pieces: Speaker Series with Sean McCoy

Sean McCoy of Tuesday Knight Games and designer of Two Rooms and a Boom will join us for a discussion on production and logistics within the tabletop industry, and how these factors influence design. A short Q&A session will follow the lecture and snacks will be provided.

Pixels & Pieces is our tabletop game design workshop facilitated and lead by the UNT Media Library. Join us to take your game ideas from a concept through testing and production, and let us help you get your prototype into the hands of publishing companies.
