Be a part of a “Living Library!”
UNT Libraries are looking for “Human Books” to challenge stereotypes through respectful conversation with others, and volunteers to help coordinate our annual Human Library event.
Your book title will relate to your experience of discrimination, based on presumptions of the general public (i.e. Young Single Parent, Refugee, Sikh, ADHD, etc.). We want to visually tell the world “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” and help people better understand those they share their communities with.
To be a Human Book, or to volunteer, or for more information, please contact Spencer Keralis (firstname.lastname@example.org) by February 17. The Human Library is Thursday, March 3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Willis Library Forum.
