Everyone is familiar with streaming video. We watch it on YouTube, subscribe to Netflix and buy Roku or Amazon Fire so that we can be entertained or educated by what we want, when we want. But what about the hundreds of thousands of films that are not available through these? Where do you go to find online video that is educational or historically important but that is not licensed for any of your everydayscreen capture of play button over a movie still showing women in Africastreaming video sources? This is where the UNT Library steps in by providing online video that supports our college curriculum.

Kanopy Streaming offers full streaming access to films from to a broad film collection that includes top producers such as Criterion Collection, PBS, Kino Lorber and many new releases. Just a few of the subject highlights include a large collection of LGBT-related films, performance art, fashion, international film and much more. Create clips from any available film, embed films online or share links.
