The American Psychological Association's PsycTESTS is a research database that provides access to psychological tests, measures, scales, surveys, and other assessments, as well as descriptive information about the test, and its development and administration. The contents are scholarly, published accounts of test development or assessment plus downloadable copies of tests whenever they are available. Database records are divided into fields, which makes searching easier—though what goes into each field varies depending on the literature documented. Psychologists have hailed the development of the new database, saying it will advance the field significantly for all professionals regardless of their specialty.
