Welcome to the Virtual Rare Book Room at the University of North Texas Music Library. This site provides full-text image files of early music prints and manuscripts, most housed in the UNT Music Library’s Rare Book Room, and background information about those works.
Links on the menu bar provide access to the collection. "About" will take you to information about the Virtual Rare Book Room collection. "Browse" provides you with alphabetical lists of works and composers. The "Reference" section has detailed information that is applicable to a number of different works in the collection. "Technical" will provide some background on the technology used to create this site and some ways to help improve access to the files on the site.
