Leon Breeden in performance
To commemorate the life and work of Leon Breeden (director of the UNT jazz program from 1959-1981), the Division of Jazz Studies has posted a collection of digitized photographs and documents from his collection at the Music Library.

The Breeden Collection currently contains 26 scrapbooks, 365 LPs by UNT alumni, 538 reel-to-reel recordings of lab band performances, and over 200 scores and instructional books. Future plans for the collection include digitization of the scrapbooks and exploring access possibilities for the reel recordings, working with the Jazz Studies division.
