How to Access Electronic Journals

The UNT Libraries subscribe to hundreds of electronic journals.  Many of them are part of huge packages, but not all.  We subscribe to some journals individually.  In addition, some publishers offer electronic access free with our print subscription to a journal.

THE BEST WAY TO LOOK UP AN ELECTRONIC JOURNAL IS BY TITLE.  There are two ways to do this.  One is to use the online catalog and set the pull-down menu to Journal Title.  If you enter a specific title, search results will show print as well as electronic holdings.

The other way to look up an electronic journal by title is to use our Electronic Resources page.  To get to it, start with the library homepage and click the appropriate hotlink.  It will take you to our special search interface.  Once there, be sure to click the E-Journals link.

On the special electronic journals search page, you can enter a journal title in the search box and if we have the journal electronically, you will get a menu of all of our holdings.
