1. Where can I check out CDs?
Students, faculty, and staff can borrow most CDs, LPs, and DVDs for one week from the Audio Center, located on the fourth floor of Willis Library.
Cassettes, Reel-to-Reel Tapes, Video Cassettes, and College of Music Recordings do not circulate. Also, any item designated "Library Use Only" or "Non-Circulating" may only be used in the Audio Center.
2. Where do I return my CDs?
CDs can be returned to the Audio Center during open hours - otherwise, they can be returned to the music circulation desk.
Please do not return CDs in the first floor or curbside book drops - you will be fined $2 per item.
3. How many books/scores can I check out?
The Music Library adheres to the library-wide circulation policy (which can be found here), but the simple answer is that there is no limit.
4. How many times can I renew a book/score?
It depends on the type of material, the status of your library account, and if there is a hold or recall on it (see the full details here), but in theory, as many times as you want.
Note: you cannot renew an item over the telephone or via e-mail, however you can manage your library account and renew certain items via the online catalog.
5. When is the Audio Center open?
The Audio Center maintains independent hours from the Music Library, so remember to check the website for the most current information.
Audio Center hours can be located at http://web2.library.unt.edu/music/hours/audio-center-hours
