William Bergquist's Three Centuries of English and American Plays: A Checklist (Z2014.D7.B45 1963a) serves as a comprehensive guide to this set.  A guide is also available on the Microform Index Shelves.  Bergquist divided the plays by time periods, then within each time period arranged them by author and title.
