Four Centuries of Spanish Drama

Abstract:  Besides the drama itself, also included in this collection are criticisms, treatises, and monographs treating subjects and aspects of Spanish drama. A majority of the plays listed belong to the dramatic production of Spain's nineteenth century, but there are a significant number from Spain's Golden Age as well as modern Spanish, Spanish American, Catalan dramas and Spanish translations of foreign dramas. There are author and title entries for each item in the Author/Title catalog.
