Canadian Imprints, 1751-1800

Abstract: Of interest to collectors of Canadiana and of use to students of Canada's social background, Canadian Imprints includes books, leaflets, broadsides, handbills, and some pictorial publications produced in the provinces of Canada. It includes works known to have been produced, whether they are known to survive or not. Full bibliographic descriptions are given for items still in existence, and any descriptive data available is given for items with no known extant copy. Information on technical production, prices, circumstances of publication, and subject matter are included. Titles are listed by year of publication.
