Rerum Britannicarum Media Aevi Scriptores

Abstract: Sometimes referred to as the "Rolls Series", this major collection of source materials is indispensable for the study of medieval England and Ireland. This series was intended to include editions of all the more significant works of the medieval chroniclers of the affairs of Great Britain with particular emphasis on those from unique manuscripts and those which helped to fill blanks in English history; but it also contains a number of Year Books and Cartularies and some record materials. Each paper can be found under the author and title in the main card catalog.
