Video games at the Media Library

The Collection
In summer 2009, the Media Library decided to incorporate video games into the collection. To celebrate the launch of this new collection, two Game On!: Fun, Films and Gaming at the UNT Libraries events were held at the Media Library and Willis Library. Students came from across campus to meet new people and play games like Guitar Hero, Super Smash Brothers, Halo and more. On September 2, The Media Library opened up circulation of the video game collection to UNT students, faculty and staff. Currently, the collection contains games for the Wii, XBox 360 and PS3 consoles.
