Media Library
The Media Library contains the UNT Libraries' nonprint, audiovisual collections. The mission of the UNT Media Library is to support the instructional and research needs of UNT faculty, staff, and students by collecting, maintaining, and providing access to media materials that represent all academic disciplines and all genres of film.
Established in 1976, the Media Library collection contains materials covering all academic disciplines and all genres of film in a variety of formats. The collection numbers over 12,000 DVDs, 11,000 videotapes, 250 video games, 350 online films, 900 laser discs, 2,000 reels of motion picture film, 2,100 filmstrips, 2,500 phonograph records, 2,000 audio cassettes and audio CDs, 200 CD-ROMs, and 36,000 individual slides.

After Hours: Media materials may be returned to the Media Library Drop Box located at the 1st floor Chestnut Street entrance of Chilton Hall.
