How to Find People on the Internet
There is a wide array of search mechanisms for finding people on the Web. A word of warning: The information you find may be out-of-date by several years.
AnyWho: AT&T's search mechanism for personal and business phone numbers; also searches businesses by category
InfoSpace: offers white pages and yellow pages searches, as well as a reverse lookup (find out who's assigned to a phone number)
Lycos PeopleSearch: search for a person's phone number and address
Meta Email Search Agent: the largest worldwide email database, based in Germany
Peoplefinder: A very good site for locating people. It gives you address and other information before taking you to Intelius, which is fee-based.
Phonebooks.com is a free lookup service. They also have links to international phone books.
Yellow Pages: search mechanism for businesses' and individuals' phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses
Switchboard: CBS's search lets you look for message boards and maps as well as addresses and phone numbers
UNT Directory: UNT's official email and phone number database.
Yellow Book: one-stop searching for phone numbers and more
Yahoo! People Search: search for people's phone numbers and email addresses (can be limited by domain name)
