How to locate state statutes for any state in the United States of America.
The following sites provide online access to current statutory law for all or most of the individual states.
- Campus Research (West)
- Available to members of UNT community. From the “Law” section of the service, select “State Statutes” under “Statutes and Regulations” and enter a search in the search form at the top. Select “All State Statutes Annotated” to search multiple state statutes simultaneously.
- LexisNexis Academic
- Available to members of UNT community. Select “Legal” from the top menu bar, then select “Federal & State Codes” from the menu in the right margin. Select a state from the "Select Sources" drop-down menu.
- State Legislatures Internet Links (National Conference of State Legislatures)
- Links to state statutory sites. Select “Statutes” from Content Area drop-down menu and any number of states from the States drop-down menu. (To select multiple states, hold down Shift key or Ctrl key while clicking.)

- This well-organized directory of Web sites and phone numbers is part of the LLSDC’s Legislative Source Book. It includes both state and commercial resources.
